Notice your posture. Visualize 3 lines running through you- one running along your spine from head to sit bones; one stretching across your chest, running shoulder to shoulder; and, one that moves forward and back like you are seated in a rocking chair. Stretch up and root down making the first plane of your posture as tall as possible inviting in confidence and dignity. Roll your shoulders open and down inviting in courage, vulnerability and receptivity. And, finally, lean back in your chair reminding your whole nervous system that all is well- even in the midst of complexity and destabilization around you, you are sufficient. Try this centering once a day- you (and your nerves, adrenals and colleagues) will be grateful you did.
