Jane brings more than 40 years of experience and practice in the non-profit sector. Much of Jane’s work with groups and individuals has been directed toward creating spaces and opportunities for young people to discover their potential by engaging in service and leadership. Jane is passionate about the power of circle process and creative non-violence to solve societal and organizational problems and unleash the best in individuals. Jane earned a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee and an undergraduate degree in English from Hiram College. For many years Jane has also been a student of the Dharma as well as a grateful Friend of Lois. When not volunteering for climate and democracy group Third Act!, Jane enjoys hiking, portrait panting, reading, perfecting her bread baking, and serving as a landing spot for her lap dog Heidi.
