Simons has worked as a circle facilitator, conflict coach and mediator for more than 10 years. She is the founder and CEO of Family Governance Consulting where her work focuses on fostering inter-generational family dialogue in preparation for estate transfers and business succession. At the heart of her work, Adele’s passion is increasing conflict competency within groups to engender the skills and safety necessary to generate solutions that are greater than the sum of their parts. Prior to joining the Circle Center team, she served as a program developer at Lipscomb University’s Saturday Academy, guiding teachers of young children through conflict management techniques. She also modeled business skills and problem-solving to former addicts and sex workers as a project developer for Thistle Farms. She will soon complete a masters degree in Conflict Resolution from Lipscomb University and holds a bachelors degree in African Studies from Emory University. Adele believes that with hard work, humor and expert guidance relationships can be a transformative creative force for the individual and community.
